Job SummaryWe are seeking enthusiastic and compassionate individuals to join our team as Behavior Technicians/Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs). As a Behavior Technician, you will work one-on-one with clients in their homes, providing personalized care and support using the principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA).
Key Responsibilities- Provide 1:1 care to clients in their homes, using ABA principles to promote skill development and behavior change.
- Implement individualized treatment plans, collecting data and monitoring progress to ensure effective interventions.
- Manage problematic behaviors through effective intervention strategies, ensuring a safe and respectful environment for clients and staff.
- Communicate regularly with parents and caregivers, fostering collaborative relationships and ensuring seamless transitions.
- Remain open to learning new skills and methodologies, utilizing creative teaching and problem-solving skills to enhance the learning experience.
- High school degree or higher, preferably a portion of or complete bachelor's degree in child development, psychology, or early education.
- RBT certification in good standing, preferred.
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, a must.
- Passion for working with children, a requirement.
- Reliable transportation, essential.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a must.
- Ability to successfully complete a background check, required.
