Job Title: Line Cook

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Line Cook to join our team at The Cliffs Hotel & Spa. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing a variety of products, including meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables, sauces, broths, breads, and other edible products using a variety of equipment and utensils according to the Daily Prepare List.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and cook a variety of products according to the Daily Prepare List.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, including tables, shelves, grills, ovens, fryers, pots, and pans.
  • Follow direction of senior kitchen management, executive chef, lead line, and banquet chef.
  • Complete opening and closing checklists.
  • Use the Daily Prep List at the beginning of each shift to learn about assigned tasks and fill out the Daily Prep List for the next scheduled shift.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 1 year of prior experience is preferred.
  • Must be able to communicate clearly with managers and kitchen staff.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
  • Ability to lift small packages (excess of 50 pounds).
  • Ability to stand continuously for the duration of the shift (eight or more hours).
