Job Title: U-Box Customer Care Representative

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a U-Box Customer Care Representative. As a U-Box Customer Care Representative, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service to our customers, ensuring that their U-Box containers are delivered safely and efficiently. You will also be responsible for loading and unloading storage containers, operating a flatbed truck and forklift, and participating in ongoing continuous education through U-Haul University.

Responsibilities:
  • Deliver U-Box containers to customers in a safe and efficient manner
  • Load and unload storage containers from trucks and trailers
  • Operate a flatbed truck and forklift
  • Participate in ongoing continuous education through U-Haul University
  • Provide exceptional customer service to customers
Requirements:
  • Clean motor vehicle driving record
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Department of Transportation certification
  • United States - commercial driver's license (CDL); however, we are willing to sponsor candidates to receive a CDL
  • Canada- Class 3 or D driver's license with air-brake endorsement, a clean driving record and able to pass a criminal background investigation
Work Environment:

The work involves moderate risks or discomforts which require special safety precautions, e.g., working around moving parts, machines, fumes or chemicals. May be required to use protective clothing or gear such as masks, goggles, gloves or shields.

Physical Demands:

The work requires some physical exertion, such as long periods both indoors and outdoors while remaining stationary, traversing spaces, repositioning to reach and use tools, and moving a minimum of 50 lbs assisted or unassisted.
