Lead the Way in Residential Ventilation
Broan-NuTone is the industry leader in residential ventilation, and we're looking for a talented individual to join our team as a Team Leader II. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate daily operations in the manufacturing plant center by ensuring associates adhere to safety, quality, and performance standards.
- Troubleshoot issues on automated lines, set up jobs, observe, and coach performance of associates.
- Uphold and model safe work practices, proactively seeking opportunities to improve safety.
- Complete layered process audits and other quality documentation, as required.
- Manage work center inventory using WMS 2018 through order allocation, directed work, and scrap processes.
- Assist Supervisor with safety investigations and reports, communicating incidents to appropriate levels as needed.
- Record daily production and downtime data through company software.
- Respond to associate questions and concerns, escalating to supervisor or HR when required.
- Display management courage to uphold policies, processes, and appropriate behavior.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent (completed)
- Experienced level in job function
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.)
- Proficient in WMS 2018
- Demonstrated leadership qualities, professionalism, accountability, communication, and positive attitude
- Clear and concise written and verbal communications
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude
- Demonstrated structured problem-solving and analytical skills
- Knowledge of Lean concepts, 5S, and Continuous Improvement practices
