The Retail Support Coordinator will assist the Store Manager and Assistant Managers in various aspects of sales, customer relations, store presentation, and operational functions. This role will also take on shift management duties when the Assistant or Store Manager is unavailable.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Guide store personnel in delivering outstanding customer service to both retail and professional clients.
Oversee customer service standards in the retail showroom, ensuring team members effectively implement customer service initiatives (such as Related sales, Hi5, Rock the Call, Never Say No, Rock the Lot, etc.).
Ensure that the phone is answered in accordance with company standards.
Manage the timely processing of online orders, store transfers, and special requests, ensuring customers are informed of shipment arrivals as necessary.
Efficiently handle customer returns and exchanges, ensuring refunds are processed accurately and returned items are organized properly.
Verify that all merchandise, including core charges and warranties, is invoiced before leaving the store.
Communicate Zipline messages and delegate Image Maker and merchandising tasks to team members as required.
Ensure compliance with the posted work schedule, with any changes approved by management, and confirm that team members are clocking in and out per company policy.
Execute all store opening and closing procedures, including day-end processes, securing cash and deposits, preparing bank deposits as necessary, ensuring security measures are in place, and checking on delivery vehicles parked in designated secure areas.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
SKILLS/EDUCATION/KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE/ABILITIES
Required:
Excellent communication abilities
Capability to obtain RSS Certification
Preferred:
Experience in retail sales, ideally in the automotive sector
Knowledge of automotive systems and repairs
ASE Certification
