The Linen Services Coordinator plays a crucial role in managing the collection of used linens, loading carts, and delivering fresh linens to designated areas. This position also involves participating in linen inventory checks, adhering to established protocols and standards.

In compliance with JACHO / OSHA regulations, the Linen Services Coordinator is required to wear gloves and hospital-issued scrubs or other Personal Protective Equipment when handling soiled linens.

The coordinator is also responsible for maintaining the Scrub Suit exchange system, ensuring that scrubs are adequately stocked in user areas.

Education

Minimum Level of Education Required: No specific educational requirements

Additional requirements:

Preferred educational qualifications:
High school diploma or GED

Position specific testing requirement:
Successful completion of pre-employment assessment if preferred educational qualifications are not met.

*Candidates must be at least 18 years old due to equipment handling responsibilities.

Experience

Minimum Level of Experience Required: No prior job-related experience necessary

Preferred experience: Previous experience in laundry operations

Knowledge/Skills

Familiarity with laundry operations, inventory management, and stocking procedures is advantageous.
