Key Responsibilities:
- Assume leadership of the center in the absence of the Administrator.
- Implement and oversee policies and procedures to ensure compliance, collaborating closely with the Medical Director and health authorities to maintain current best practices.
- Assist in budget preparation and manage the approved budget effectively.
- Recruit, mentor, and manage nursing staff, ensuring proper scheduling and conducting timely performance evaluations.
- Analyze nursing services to enhance the quality of resident care and optimize staff utilization.
- Ensure positive outcomes for residents by developing systems and schedules that respect their lifestyles, conducting daily rounds, and monitoring changes in resident status.
Qualifications:
- Current R.N. License from the State Board of Nursing with proven managerial and administrative capabilities.
- Experience in long-term care or with the geriatric population is preferred.
- Minimum of two years of supervisory experience required.
- Strong organizational and planning skills for nursing service delivery.
- Ability to assess reports and programs against both subjective and objective criteria.
