Position Summary:
As a Floating Leasing Agent, you will be instrumental in providing leasing services across various locations within our portfolio. Your ability to quickly adapt to different environments and foster strong relationships with both residents and prospective tenants is vital. You will showcase our properties to potential residents, respond to their inquiries, and guide them through the leasing journey. This position requires resilience, flexibility, and a genuine passion for delivering outstanding service in every interaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Ownership of the Leasing Process:
    • Manage the leasing process from initiation to completion, ensuring all tasks are performed accurately and efficiently.
    • Keep detailed records of interactions with prospective residents, lease agreements, and move-in/move-out protocols.
    • Follow leasing policies and fair housing regulations to ensure compliance and minimize risk.
  2. Exceptional Customer Service:
    • Deliver exceptional customer service to both prospective and current residents, building trust through timely and effective communication.
    • Conduct property tours, highlighting apartment features and amenities that align with prospective residents' needs.
    • Address inquiries, concerns, and maintenance requests promptly and professionally, exceeding resident expectations.
  3. Marketing and Community Engagement:
    • Develop and execute innovative marketing strategies to attract prospective residents, utilizing both traditional and digital platforms.
    • Establish relationships with local businesses and community leaders to generate referrals and increase leasing traffic.
    • Participate in community events and networking opportunities to promote our properties and connect with potential residents.
  4. Lease Management:
    • Assist prospective residents with the application process, including screening applicants and conducting background checks in line with company policies.
    • Prepare and finalize lease agreements, ensuring accuracy and adherence to leasing regulations.
    • Coordinate move-in and move-out procedures, conducting unit inspections and facilitating smooth transitions for residents.
  5. Travel and Flexibility:
    • Provide leasing and customer service support at multiple properties as required.
    • Quickly adjust to the unique needs of different properties, ensuring consistent service delivery.
    • Maintain a flexible schedule and travel to ensure adequate coverage across all locations.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in sales, marketing, or real estate is preferred.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in leasing, sales, or customer service, ideally within the multifamily housing sector.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse audiences.
  • Resilience and adaptability to excel in challenging environments, with a solutions-oriented approach.
  • Knowledge of fair housing laws and leasing best practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and property management software.
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
