As a Janitorial Specialist in Assembly, your responsibilities will include:

  • Daily cleaning of designated areas within the facility.
  • Performing light housekeeping tasks in production areas, offices, hallways, restrooms, reception areas, and lunchrooms.
  • Replenishing supplies as needed and monitoring the condition of the facility.
  • Identifying repair needs and maintaining a clean and orderly work environment.
  • Adhering to all safety and cleaning protocols, including the use of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).

Additional duties may be assigned as necessary.

Qualifications:
To be successful as a Janitorial Specialist in Assembly, you should possess:

  • A high school diploma, GED, or equivalent is strongly preferred.
  • The ability to read and follow detailed written and verbal instructions.
  • Physical agility to work primarily on foot.
  • The capability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Effective communication skills with leaders and coworkers.
  • A willingness to learn and share innovative ideas.
  • A strong work ethic and a positive, solution-oriented attitude focused on continuous improvement.

Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of this position, the employee will frequently be required to stand or sit, manipulate objects, tools, and controls, walk, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, and/or crawl. The role may require lifting up to 35 lbs and occasionally more with assistance. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to distinguish colors.

The employee will work near moving mechanical parts, toxic or caustic chemicals, fumes, and airborne particles. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.
