Metal Finishing Technician

Patriot Foundry and Castings, a leading and growing manufacturing organization, is seeking a dedicated Metal Finishing Technician to join our dynamic team. The selected individual will play a crucial role in the production process by operating equipment to refine various aluminum and bronze alloys, ensuring the highest quality standards are met.
This position offers a competitive hourly wage ranging from $20 to $22, depending on experience, along with a performance-based bonus structure.

Daily ResponsibilitiesAs a Metal Finishing Technician, your key responsibilities will include:
- Utilizing bandsaws, chop saws, and angle grinders to eliminate excess material.
- Removing flashing, burrs, and minor imperfections using belt grinders, angle grinders, and die grinders.
- Cleaning finished castings with shot-blast and tumble machines.
- Conducting visual inspections and identifying defective pieces.
- Packing and palletizing completed castings for distribution.
Our ideal candidate will possess the following qualities:
- Physically Fit: Capable of lifting loads exceeding 30 pounds.
- Self-Disciplined: Adheres to work instructions and promptly reports any issues.
- Responsible: Maintains a cautious and alert demeanor at all times.
- Organized: Ensures work area and machinery are kept clean and in good condition.
- Reliable: Consistently arrives on time and meets performance expectations.
To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending, twisting, and standing for extended periods.
- Strong communication skills.
- Demonstrated adaptability and attention to detail.
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- U.S. citizenship or documented residency.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
