About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced District Manager to join our team at Russell Stover Chocolates. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the operations of our retail shops, ensuring that they meet or exceed company goals in terms of profitability and performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the Management Team, promoting a culture of excellence, innovation, and collaboration.
  • Manage all aspects of retail shop operations, including sales, labor costs, COGS, and inventory controls.
  • Communicate regularly with shops on goals and performance issues, and work with the Management Team and Corporate Personnel to design and implement local marketing programs.
  • Ensure that shops are meeting or exceeding expectations of company goals in terms of profitability and performance.
  • Work with the Human Resources department to analyze and evolve training programs, and take an active role in the selection, interview, and hiring process of management and supervisory personnel.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Management or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum 3+ years of managing a multi-unit retail environment.
  • Supervisory experience with a proven ability to manage and develop staff.
  • Previous experience managing P&L.
  • Ability to travel in the US up to 75% of the time.
  • Strong analytical skills, strong oral and written communication skills, and knowledge of POS systems, MICROS preferred.
  • High level of proficiency with MS Office products.
