We are seeking a highly skilled Staff Development and Training Officer to join our team at the County of Butte California. As a key member of our Human Resources department, you will be responsible for designing and implementing training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of our staff.
Key Responsibilities- Training Program Development: Design and deliver training programs to meet the needs of our staff, including workshops, seminars, and online courses.
- Needs Assessment: Conduct needs assessments to identify training gaps and develop targeted training programs to address these gaps.
- Collaboration: Work closely with department managers and staff to understand their training needs and develop programs that meet these needs.
- Evaluation: Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make recommendations for improvement.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Education, or a related field.
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in training and development, preferably in a government or public sector setting.
