Job Title: Deputy Administrative Officer

Butte County is seeking a highly skilled Deputy Administrative Officer to join our team. As a key member of our administration department, you will be responsible for providing leadership and guidance on budgeting and financial planning.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct research and analysis on County administrative and modernization strategies
  • Collect, compile, and analyze data to develop recommendations and prepare reports
  • Coordinate the planning and implementation of the annual County budget process
  • Monitor County budget and expenditures, and review and analyze annual County budget proposals
  • Analyze trends and forecast revenues, expenditures, and workload based on complex internal and external data sources
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in public administration, business administration, or a related field
  • Five years of progressively responsible experience in a governmental agency or non-profit, with responsibilities including organizational administration or financial and budgetary analysis
  • Valid US driver's license
