As a key member of our grocery team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and ensuring the proper handling and storage of meat and seafood products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide friendly and attentive customer service to ensure a positive shopping experience
  • Weigh, wrap, price, prepare, and label meat or seafood products to meet customer needs
  • Maintain proper case conditions, including cleaning, stocking, straightening, and rotating product to ensure a visually appealing store environment
  • Fulfill customer requests for meat/seafood products and answer customer questions in a knowledgeable and courteous manner
  • Ensure proper handling and storing of product to prevent spoilage and maintain food safety standards
  • Ensure proper operation of and temperatures in cooler, prep area, freezer, lobster tanks, and cases to maintain a safe and healthy environment for customers and employees

Requirements:

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time
  • Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a point-of-sale system
