We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Survivability Engineer to join our team at Northrop Grumman. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing cutting-edge stealth technology solutions to reduce the detectability of aircraft in various spectrums.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and integrate stealth technology solutions to reduce radar cross-section and infrared signatures
- Develop and implement radio frequency modeling and testing of complex classified targets
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize stealth goals and balance design requirements
- Utilize proprietary analysis codes and computational electromagnetic analysis to predict and verify design performance
- Work in a fast-paced environment with high expectations and diverse assignments
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline and 5 years of related professional/military engineering experience, or a Master's degree and 3 years of related professional/military engineering experience
- Active DoD Secret clearance and ability to obtain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance
- Experience with Northrop Grumman proprietary computational electromagnetic analysis codes or similar codes used by competitors or customers
- Strong interpersonal communication and technical writing skills
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience using the latest classified cutting-edge technology to reduce detectability of aircraft
- Experience with radio frequency modeling and testing of complex classified targets
- Comprehensive understanding of electromagnetic energy transmission through space and within materials
