Job Overview

Protection Strategies Inc (PSI) is a leading force in security and defense solutions, dedicated to safeguarding clients' interests with integrity and innovation. We are seeking an experienced Industrial Security Specialist to join our team and support the Industrial Security Unit (ISU) in facilitating contract vendor security clearance requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement DHS-wide policies and procedures for the Industrial Security Program.
  • Advise top-level officials on security program developments and advances.
  • Conduct security surveys, inspections, and compliance reviews.
  • Manage and administer programs and personnel governed by Executive Order 12829.
  • Conduct preliminary inquiries of actual or suspected compromise of classified information.
  • Formulate and coordinate interrelated security policies and procedures.
  • Produce finished documentation, including reports and policy procedure development.
  • Ability to conduct analyses, evaluations, and internal inspection of security programs.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience.
  • Relevant experience shall include experience within one or more of the standard securities and/or intelligence fields.
  • Subject matter expertise and hands-on experience in one or more security and/or intelligence discipline is preferable.
  • Must be highly organized and have excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Shall demonstrate a proficiency in various types of information technology applications.
  • Familiarity with ISMS, eQIP, CVS, and/or DISS is preferred, but not required.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a US government security clearance.
