Job Title: Security Technology Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Security Technology Specialist to join our team at Microsoft Federal. As a key member of our Security Solutions team, you will play a critical role in helping our customers protect their digital assets and stay ahead of emerging threats.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive security solutions for our customers, leveraging Microsoft's cutting-edge security technologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deliver tailored security solutions that meet our customers' unique needs.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to customers on security best practices, threat mitigation, and incident response.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends, threats, and technologies, and apply this knowledge to drive innovation and improvement in our security solutions.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of technical pre-sales or technical consulting experience in the security industry.
  • Experience with Microsoft security solutions, including M365 Defender, Defender for Cloud, and Sentinel.
  • Strong understanding of cloud security architectures, solutions, and technologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certification in relevant technologies or disciplines, such as Microsoft 365 Security Administration or Azure Security.
  • Industry certifications, such as CISSP, CCSP, or iAPP.
  • Hands-on technical knowledge of security information and event management (SIEM) systems, next-gen web application firewalls, and threat detection technologies.
