As a Registered Nurse in our Emergency Department, you will be responsible for providing direct nursing care to patients in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols of the healthcare organization.

  • Implement and monitor patient care plans, ensuring the highest level of care and patient satisfaction.
  • Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate, collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care.
  • Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines, ensuring well-coordinated patient care and exceptional outcomes.
  • Note and carry out physician and nursing orders, prioritizing patient needs and safety.
  • Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team, ensuring a smooth transition to the next level of care.

To be successful in this role, you will need to meet the following requirements:

  • Licensure/Certification/Registration: Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing, obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • One or more of the following required: Advanced Life Support, obtained within 6 months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date; BLS Provider, obtained within 1 month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support preferred.
  • Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing or professional licensure at time of hire required.
