Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Deliver direct nursing care following established protocols and standards.
- Implement and assess patient care plans, ensuring effective communication of patient conditions.
- Act as the primary coordinator for multidisciplinary care.
- Execute physician and nursing directives efficiently.
- Facilitate discharge planning in collaboration with the healthcare team.
Qualifications
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
- Registered Nurse credential from the Texas Board of Nursing required prior to employment.
- Certification in Advanced Life Support within 6 months of hire is mandatory. Acceptable certifications include those from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
- BLS Provider certification must be obtained within 1 month of hire. American Heart Association or American Red Cross certifications are accepted.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support certification is preferred.
Education:
- A diploma from an accredited nursing school or professional licensure at the time of hire is required.
