Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Matlab Developer to join our team at HCLTech. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing powertrain controls requirements, leveraging model-based controls development, and collaborating with process partners to deliver high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop powertrain controls requirements based on machine level performance and functional requirements.
  • Design and implement leverageable control features for various electromechanical system architectures.
  • Utilize virtual product development for control system functional testing, powertrain optimization, and performance verification.
  • Analyze data, investigate issues, and document powertrain control feature functionality and performance.
  • Collaborate with process partners to deliver high-quality products.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or Equivalent Engineering with 3 years of engineering work experience.
  • Experience developing electromechanical, transmission, hybrid, or powertrain controls.
  • Experience in model-based controls development using Matlab Simulink and Stateflow.
  • Experience with virtual product development.
  • Experience with control software development tools and processes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong technical leadership skills and communication.
  • Experience with lab or machine development.
  • Experience with CAN development tools: Vector CANape, CANalyzer.
