We are seeking a highly skilled ADAS System Requirements Engineer to join our team at Teoresi, Inc. in Peoria, IL.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and documenting system requirements for new ADAS functions, as well as testing and integrating these systems. This role requires strong technical expertise in automotive electronics, software development, and system architecture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and document system requirements for ADAS functions
  • Test and integrate ADAS systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure system requirements are met
  • Develop and maintain system diagrams and documentation
  • Assist with vehicle control strategies and simulation requirements
  • Coordinate with test engineering and on-vehicle testing
  • Lead research, development, and implementation of perception, sensor fusion, mapping, and localization algorithms for ADAS and AD technologies
  • Advise team on autonomy system architecture, hardware layout, communication protocols, control strategies, and algorithms for complex vehicle systems
  • Develop Interface Control Documents for vehicle onboard autonomous systems
  • On-vehicle software/hardware integration, debugging, and troubleshooting

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer/Electrical Engineering or equivalent
  • Experience in the field of autonomous driving or ADAS systems
  • Experience with MATLAB/Simulink and C/C++ and Python
  • Understanding of automotive functional safety concepts, ISO 26262, V model for automotive software development, agile methodology, and version control software such as GIT
