Job Summary

Supernal is seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing the accounts payable function, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Accounts Payable Management: Oversee the accounts payable process to ensure timely and accurate invoice processing, payment reconciliation, and vendor management.
  • Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, in accordance with IFRS and US GAAP.
  • General Ledger Maintenance: Contribute to the maintenance of the General Ledger, including posting journal entries, reconciling accounts, and ensuring accuracy of financial data.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and contribute to the implementation of process improvements, particularly within the accounts payable function.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Accounting, Finance, and Operations, to ensure accurate and efficient financial operations.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting required; Master's in Accounting or MBA preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of five (5) years of corporate financial reporting, accounts payable, or public accounting audit experience.
  • Skills: Working knowledge and application of IFRS and/or US GAAP, experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle), and proficiency with MS Office Suite.
