This is a long-term temporary position expected to last approximately one year. Experience in Accounts Payable is essential, while Accounts Receivable experience is advantageous.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Accounts Receivable Management: Handle invoicing processes in NetSuite and ensure accurate application of customer payments.
  • Weekly Reporting & Collections: Generate weekly accounts receivable reports and support collection activities.
  • Accounts Payable Processing: Input AP invoices and assist with weekly payment runs.
  • Internal Controls Compliance: Maintain and adhere to robust internal control measures.
  • Customer Communication: Professionally engage with customers and internal teams to address inquiries regarding invoices and payment statuses.

Card Administration Duties:
Collaborate with other accounting staff on company P-Card administration tasks, ensuring adherence to policies related to credit limits, receipt documentation, and approvals for company credit card accounts.

Process Improvement Initiatives:
Identify and recommend opportunities for enhancing processes through automation and standardization.Month-End Support: Assist senior accountants with month-end responsibilities, including adjusting journal entries and account reconciliations.
Qualifications:
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, particularly in Accounts Payable.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Proficient in accounting software applications and MS Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Capability to maintain a positive, solution-oriented mindset during periods of change.
  • Quick learner of new applications, processes, and procedures.
  • Strong relationship-building skills and ability to collaborate across functions.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.

Job Type: Temporary, Full-time

Compensation: $23.50 per hour
