Job Title: Senior Spectral Scientist

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Spectral Scientist to join our team at Fathom Management LLC. As a key member of our research and development team, you will be responsible for developing software tools and plugins for processing and exploiting spectral, multispectral, or hyperspectral data.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement new software and tools for improved data processing, calibration, target detection, identification, and characterization.
  • Research radiative transfer theory as it pertains to atmospheric correction of hyperspectral data.
  • Implement software tools in Python, C++, Matlab, or IDL.
  • Build remote sensing target detection algorithms.
  • Collaborate with other teams within the DoD and IC.

Requirements:

  • BA/BS and 10 years of relevant experience.
  • Experienced in Python, C++, Matlab, or IDL.
  • An active TS/SCI Clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with hyperspectral image processing techniques and calibration.
  • Experience processing, exploiting, and disseminating results of data analysis to customers.
