Critical Care Nurse

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Cardiovascular Critical Care team at Lubbock Heart & Surgical Hospital. As a critical care nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to critically ill patients in our cardiovascular unit.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and prioritize patient needs, developing individualized care plans to meet their unique requirements.
- Implement evidence-based interventions to improve patient outcomes, including medication administration, wound care, and respiratory support.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care, including physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
- Document patient care and progress in a timely and accurate manner, maintaining a safe and secure electronic medical record.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Texas.
- 2-5 years of experience in critical care nursing, with a minimum of 1 year in cardiovascular critical care.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- CCRN certification preferred.
- BSN degree preferred.
