Responsibilities
  • Prepare and maintain the surgical suite to ensure a safe and efficient environment for patients and staff.
  • Handle and maintain surgical instruments and the sterile field with precision and attention to detail.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest surgical procedures and protocols to provide the highest level of care.
  • May serve as a preceptor to support the growth and development of colleagues.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma required.
  • Associate degree or equivalent required.
  • Completion of an accredited School of Surgical Technology or equivalent training program or 1 year of equivalent experience required.
  • Minimum of 1 year of Surgical Technologist experience preferred.
  • AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days of hire required.
