We are seeking a highly skilled Substance Abuse Recovery Specialist to join our team at Trinity Health Of New England. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in developing and integrating addiction and recovery services within our organization.
Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Substance Abuse Recovery Specialist, you will be responsible for identifying, supporting, and evaluating patients with substance use disorders. You will work closely with our Addiction Consult Service provider to develop individualized treatment plans, including medication-assisted treatment and coordination of care post-discharge.
You will also provide support and supervision to our Recovery Coach on site, as well as act as a liaison between emergency department, inpatient medical units, community outpatient services for SUDs, and behavioral health services to ensure appropriate assessment, triage, and engagement of our patients.
Requirements- Education: Graduate of an accredited college or university affiliated nursing program. BSN graduate preferred.
- Licensure: Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Massachusetts.
- Experience: Three (3) years of nursing experience, with at least two (2) years working in substance use disorders.
