As a Registered Nurse at the Carlson Recovery Center, you will provide individualized care to those in recovery, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide care with kindness and sensitivity, preserving and protecting the autonomy, dignity, and rights of individuals served
* Use knowledge of biophysical, psychosocial, and spiritual dimensions during the assessment process
* Diagnose conditions and develop personal care plans for intervention
* Collaborate with individuals and their families, educating them on unique needs and recognizing the importance of positive therapeutic outcomes
* Evaluate responses to care plans and track progress towards ideal outcomes

Requirements:

* Bachelor's or Associate's Degree (preferred), or Diploma/Degree in Nursing
* Current licensure as a Registered Nurse by the Massachusetts Board of Registration (required)
* Minimum of one year nursing experience (preferred)
* Knowledge of quality assurance standards and CARF standards
* Working knowledge of ethics and legal parameters of working with substance abuse clients
* Demonstrates leadership skills and abilities
* Proficiency in applying the nursing process to individuals and families
* Ability to collaborate with other caregivers
* Ability to delegate to peers and other caregivers consistent with their level of expertise
* Ability to understand, empathize, and work with an addicted population, including those with co-occurring disorders
* Ability to advocate for clients
* Two years of sobriety as required by the funding source BSAS, as applicable
