Role Summary
As a Lead Cloud Solutions Engineer, you will collaborate closely with the Principal Engineer of Digital Strategy. This role emphasizes independent and cooperative work, focusing on the full-stack development of our cloud-based applications. You will engage with the development team, product stakeholders, and clients during the technical design and implementation phases, offering your expertise and guidance. Additionally, you will enhance the platform's functionality to ensure scalability and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Front-End Development:
- Design and maintain user interfaces utilizing HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Employ front-end frameworks such as React or Angular to create dynamic interfaces.
- Ensure mobile responsiveness and compatibility across various devices.
- Work with designers to implement user experience (UX) strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Document code, APIs, and application architecture comprehensively.
- Back-End Development:
- Develop and maintain server-side logic using relevant programming languages and frameworks.
- Create and manage RESTful APIs for seamless data exchange.
- Engage in database management, executing queries and operations on SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Implement secure authentication and authorization protocols.
- Maintain API documentation using tools like Swagger.
- Participate in code reviews to uphold coding standards and quality.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Education & Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in user interface design and development.
- 5+ years of experience in server-side application logic and API development.
- 5+ years of experience in database design and management.
- 5+ years of experience in debugging and testing applications.
- 3+ years of experience with version control systems like Git.
- 3+ years of experience with cloud platforms and their core services.
- 2+ years of experience in CI/CD practices and Infrastructure as Code tools.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
Working Conditions:
- Standard office environment with the ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
- Ability to lift or move items up to 50 pounds.
- Minimal travel required.
