As a participant in the Corporate Risk Development Program, you will be responsible for:
- Participating in a variety of assigned and ongoing business operations to ensure success in meeting business goals and objectives
- Identifying opportunities for process improvement by conducting root cause testing of all compliance and business metrics
- Determining areas of strength or Business Execution opportunity within defined scope of work
- Reviewing and researching strategies and action plans to establish effective processes while meeting performance metrics and policy expectations
- Utilizing independent judgment to guide moderate risk deliverables
- Presenting recommendations to develop, implement, and monitor strategic approaches, effectiveness of support function, and business performance improvement opportunities for managing risks of the business
- Exercising independent judgment and providing guidance in diverse support functions and operations for a single business group within a line of business
- Collaborating and consulting with leaders and executive management
- Providing work direction to less experienced Strategy and Execution staff
To be eligible for the Corporate Risk Development Program, you must have:
- 2+ years of Business Operations or Leadership experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- Master's degree (all disciplines including M.B.A., master's in data sciences, analytics, engineering, etc., and/or J.D.) with an expected graduation in December 2024- May/June 2025
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience using Microsoft Office suite of products
- Strong analytic and/or process skills including manipulating data using SAS, SQL, and/or Python
- Conveys new and creative solutions to complex technical and analytical problems by using data to tell stories to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Analytical mindset, ability to draw business solutions from pulling and analyzing data
- Knowledge and/or experience in the financial services industry
- Ability to prepare written documentation, clearly defining proposals with supporting justification
- Demonstrated leadership skills
- Ability to take on a prominent level of responsibility, initiative, and accountability
