Responsibilities

As a participant in the Corporate Risk Development Program, you will be responsible for:

  • Participating in a variety of assigned and ongoing business operations to ensure success in meeting business goals and objectives
  • Identifying opportunities for process improvement by conducting root cause testing of all compliance and business metrics
  • Determining areas of strength or Business Execution opportunity within defined scope of work
  • Reviewing and researching strategies and action plans to establish effective processes while meeting performance metrics and policy expectations
  • Utilizing independent judgment to guide moderate risk deliverables
  • Presenting recommendations to develop, implement, and monitor strategic approaches, effectiveness of support function, and business performance improvement opportunities for managing risks of the business
  • Exercising independent judgment and providing guidance in diverse support functions and operations for a single business group within a line of business
  • Collaborating and consulting with leaders and executive management
  • Providing work direction to less experienced Strategy and Execution staff
Requirements

To be eligible for the Corporate Risk Development Program, you must have:

  • 2+ years of Business Operations or Leadership experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • Master's degree (all disciplines including M.B.A., master's in data sciences, analytics, engineering, etc., and/or J.D.) with an expected graduation in December 2024- May/June 2025
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience using Microsoft Office suite of products
  • Strong analytic and/or process skills including manipulating data using SAS, SQL, and/or Python
  • Conveys new and creative solutions to complex technical and analytical problems by using data to tell stories to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Analytical mindset, ability to draw business solutions from pulling and analyzing data
  • Knowledge and/or experience in the financial services industry
  • Ability to prepare written documentation, clearly defining proposals with supporting justification
  • Demonstrated leadership skills
  • Ability to take on a prominent level of responsibility, initiative, and accountability
