Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join our Engineering/Maintenance Department at the Administration Building in Berea, OH. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assisting in the preparation of maintenance of traffic plans for construction projects, coordinating and reviewing construction plans, and processing permit requests for utility crossings and overweight/over-dimensional vehicles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in preparing maintenance of traffic plans for construction projects
  • Coordinate and review construction plans, specifications, and cost estimates
  • Process and coordinate permit requests for utility crossings and overweight/over-dimensional vehicles
  • Review and analyze data to inform engineering decisions
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve project goals
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Civil Engineering degree required
  • Licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Ohio with a minimum of five (5) years experience in a responsible position
  • Experience with construction project management and AASHTO Roadside Design Guide
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Valid Ohio driver's license
