Job Summary

The Admin Financial Analyst plays a crucial role in maintaining the financial health of Ozaukee County. This position is responsible for managing financial activities, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with government accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage financial activities, including reconciliations, deposits, and wire transfers.
  • Prepare financial reports, including monthly reports for departments and bank statements.
  • Monitor inventory and fixed assets, ensuring accurate records and depreciation expenses.
  • Work with insurance carriers to maintain accurate inventory and report accidents.
  • Process 1099 forms and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
  • Prepare CAFR reports and statistical sections.
  • Perform miscellaneous tasks, including sales tax filing, check voiding, and jury A/P integration.
Requirements
  • Associate degree with 2-3 years of experience or a recent college graduate with a bachelor's degree in accounting.
  • Governmental Accounting Training.
  • Strong knowledge of financial principles, accounting theory, and government management.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
