Job Title: Financial Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst to join our team at Integrated Federal Solutions. As a Financial Analyst, you will play a critical role in providing operational services pertaining to the administration of financial support agreements for the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST).

Job Summary

The Financial Analyst will be responsible for analyzing company applications financial reports to ensure comprehensive and thorough submissions. You will also evaluate the financial aspects of assigned applications and incentive requests, providing a detailed understanding of project economics from the perspectives of all stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform initial completion scans of company applications reviewing both operational and financial data.
  • Analyze company applications financial reports to ensure comprehensive and thorough submissions.
  • Confirm if assumptions made by the applicant are reasonable.
  • Evaluate the financial aspects of assigned applications and incentive requests.
  • Provide a detailed understanding of project economics from the perspectives of all stakeholders.
  • Assist in day-to-day operational tasks, ensuring smooth execution of various processes.
  • Provide administrative support to various departments, including data entry and record-keeping.
  • Assist in maintaining accurate documentation of operational processes and procedures, and protocol interactions.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Business.
  • Four - Seven years of Financial Analyst or Business Analyst experience.
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and accounting expertise.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong customer service and critical thinking skills.
  • Experience with Office suite (Word, Excel, Teams).
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including formulas using If, Index, Match, Lookups. Pivot table experience.
  • Proven ability to solve problems creatively.
Physical Requirements

The physical demands described herein are representative of those which may need to be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.

Employees must possess the ability to work in an office environment. If required, employees must be able to operate a motor vehicle which may require sitting for prolonged periods of time to visit other company sites.

Must have hearing and speech to communicate in person, before groups, and over the telephone. Standing in work areas and walking between work areas may be required. This position may require an employee to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb or balance, reach, push, and pull. The employee may also be required to lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
