We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Colorectal Surgery Clinic team at Swedish Health Services. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our clinic.
Key Responsibilities- Patient Assessment and Care Planning: Collect and interpret patient data to identify needs and potential problems, and develop individualized care plans to achieve expected outcomes.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work effectively with patients, families, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to provide seamless care and advocate for patient needs.
- Clinical Expertise: Utilize nursing principles and pathophysiology to deliver patient care, perform technical skills with accuracy and efficiency, and establish priorities based on patient acuity and clinical situations.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and complete records of patient care, including assessments, interventions, and outcomes, and report to oncoming shifts in a concise and relevant manner.
- Education and Licensure: Graduation from an accredited nursing program and current Washington Registered Nurse License.
- Certifications and Training: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association and Fundamentals of Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Administration within 90 days of hire.
- Experience: 1 year of surgery nursing experience.
