We are seeking a highly skilled Advanced Practice Provider to join our Spine Neurosurgery Program at Northwest Community Hospital. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with a growing team of experienced APPs and Neurosurgeons to build an innovative program with state-of-the-art operating rooms and technology.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care as a part of the Spine Neurosurgery Program, including the full spectrum of Spine Neurosurgery patients from minimally invasive surgeries to complex spine reconstructions.
- Collaborate with Neurosurgeons and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, develop and implement treatment plans, and provide education to patients and families.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in Spine Neurosurgery and incorporate evidence-based practices into patient care.
- Advanced Practice Provider licensure (PA-C or APN-CNP) in the State of Illinois required.
- Federal DEA and Illinois Controlled Substance License required.
- Completion of an accredited program from either a Masters level Physician Assistant Program or an Advanced Practice Nurse Graduate/Doctoral Level Nursing Program.
- BLS/CPR certification and ACLS certification required.
- Prior Advanced Practice Provider experience in an acute care hospital setting preferred but not required.
