Job Summary:

As a Pharmacy Technician at Walgreens, you will play a vital role in assisting pharmacists in the practice of pharmacy, ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of prescription dispensing, and providing exceptional customer service to our patients. Key Responsibilities:

Assist pharmacists in the performance of pharmacy duties, including the preparation and dispensing of medications, and the maintenance of accurate records.

Use pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information, and process prescriptions accurately and efficiently.

Provide exceptional customer service to patients, responding to their questions and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.

Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to company standards and policies.

Collaborate with other pharmacy team members to achieve departmental goals and objectives.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent required; PTCB or ExCPT certification preferred.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Basic math skills and ability to accurately count, measure, and weigh medications.

Familiarity with pharmacy systems and software, with ability to learn new systems quickly.
