Job Description

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) will provide patient care services in a variety of healthcare settings, including long-term care facilities, hospitals, and rehabilitation centers. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a difference in the lives of patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provides personal care services to patients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Takes vital signs and documents according to facility protocols.
  • Maintains competency by participating in continuing education programs and meets state specific requirements.
  • Delivers patient care in a non-judgmental, non-discriminatory manner that considers cultural diversity and age appropriateness so that autonomy, rights, and dignity are preserved.
Requirements
  • Completion of a state-approved certified nursing program and/or successful passing of a competency evaluation program which meets state regulations.
  • Meets state specific certification requirements and possesses unrestricted certification as a CNA.
  • At least six months of work experience as a CNA in a healthcare setting.
  • Current CPR as required by client facility; other health and screening tests as required by specific facilities and/or regulatory agencies.
Estimated Salary

$28-$32/hour, based on experience and qualifications.
