Renal Care Specialist

A Renal Care Specialist is needed for a 13-week travel nursing assignment in Bremerton, Washington. The ideal candidate will have experience in dialysis and nephrology nursing, providing specialized care to patients with acute or chronic kidney disease.
About the Job:
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for patients undergoing hemodialysis or peritoneal dialysis
- Monitor patients' vital signs, laboratory results, and dialysis-related parameters
- Administer dialysis treatments, including anticoagulants and antihypertensives as prescribed
- Educate patients on dialysis treatments, self-care post-treatment, and renal health
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support overall patient care
Requirements:
- BSN preferred; ADN accepted
- Valid RN license in the state of practice
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Dialysis certification (e.g., CNN) preferred
- Previous experience in dialysis, nephrology, or critical care nursing
Compensation: Pay package based on 10 hour shifts and 40 hours per week, with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined. Estimated annual salary: $84,000 - $110,000 depending on location and experience.
