About the Opportunity

Unavailable is currently seeking an experienced and compassionate Intensive Care Unit Nurse Specialist to join our healthcare team. This role requires a dedicated professional who can provide exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment.

About the Job

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality nursing services to patients in various inpatient acute units. Key responsibilities include assessing, planning, coordinating, evaluating, and delegating work to the patient care team.

This role involves developing, implementing, and assessing patient plans of care in collaboration with physicians and interdisciplinary teams. The nurse will also provide education and consultation to patients, families, physicians, and staff members on implementing appropriate nursing interventions for optimal patient care.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree preferred.
  • Minimum 6 months previous RN experience required.
  • One year of related work experience (ED or critical care) in an acute care setting preferred.
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse issued by the Washington State Board of Nursing.
  • Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS certification.
  • Current American Heart Association ACLS certification.
  • Trauma Nurse Core Curriculum (TNCC) certification within 12 months of hire.
  • Emergency Nurse Pediatric Certification (ENPC) or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification within 12 months of hire.
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) and/or Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) certification preferred.
  • CCRN or Certified Neuroscience Registered Nurse (CNRN) certification preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per year, based on experience, depending on qualifications and location. Additionally, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, paid time off, and ongoing education opportunities.
