Overview

The Technology Search Group, Inc. is seeking a skilled Patient Care Coordinator to join our team. This role requires excellent communication skills and a patient-centered approach. The ideal candidate will have experience in healthcare administration and be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage patient interactions, ensuring a welcoming environment and addressing concerns.
  • Schedule patient appointments efficiently, accommodating patients' needs and optimizing audiologists' time.
  • Maintain accurate patient records, ensuring confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
  • Verify insurance coverage and obtain necessary authorizations.
  • Prepare patients for appointments by collecting necessary documentation and information.
  • Provide patients with information on hearing aids and treatment plans as directed by the audiologist.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree in healthcare administration or a related field preferred.
  • Previous experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in audiology or a related field.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) and scheduling software.
  • Knowledge of medical insurance processes and terminology.
  • Compassionate, patient-focused, and empathetic demeanor.
Estimated Salary: $45,000 - $65,000 per year
