Job Summary

We are seeking a talented Mechanical Designer to join our expanding team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for creating precise, complete, and accurate working plans and detailed drawings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with our engineering team, Project Managers, and customers to develop reliable products that meet customer needs.
  • Identify factors affecting project design and use knowledge of manufacturing methods, materials, etc., in developing designs.
  • Prepare drawings and resolve associated mechanical and fabrication problems.
  • Participate in designing special modifications to existing parts.
  • Create and edit drawings using current AutoCAD and Inventor software.
  • Ensure accuracy of work by checking dimensions, materials to be used, relation of one part to another, and of various parts to the entire project.
  • Understand established standards, follow them, and suggest improvements when possible.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Associate's degree preferred.
  • 1 to 2 years of experience required.
  • Experience with AutoCAD, Inventor or SolidWorks preferred.
