Home Health Care COTA Role

At Post-Acute Rehab Solutions (PARS Therapy), we are seeking a skilled and patient-focused Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant to join our team. About the Role:

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate COTA who will work closely with our team to develop and implement effective occupational therapy interventions that enhance the daily living and work skills of our patients. As a COTA at PARS Therapy, you will be responsible for assessing clients' needs, creating personalized treatment plans, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments to identify client needs and develop tailored treatment plans
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver evidence-based occupational therapy interventions
  • Provide education and training to clients and their families on adaptive equipment, safety measures, and functional activities
  • Document progress and outcomes, ensuring accurate and timely reporting
  • Maintain open communication with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care

Requirements:

  • COTA certification required
  • Experience working in home health care or rehabilitation settings preferred
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality care and achieving positive outcomes
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Familiarity with ADLs evaluation tools and ability to adapt to changing patient needs
