Job Description and Duties

Under the close supervision of the Accounting Administrator II, the Accountant Trainee performs professional accounting duties in the Accounts Payable Unit, responsible for auditing and processing more complex invoices and grants.

This position requires a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, as well as excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Audit and process complex invoices and grants
  • Perform financial analysis and prepare financial reports
  • Assist in the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures
  • Provide support to the Accounting Administrator II in the management of the Accounts Payable Unit
