Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and energetic professional to join our team as a Field Operations Crew Member at the Ballpark of the Palm Beaches. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining the 160-acre Spring Training Complex, including 12 full-size and 2 half-sized baseball fields, grass parking areas, a 12-acre lake, and surrounding landscape areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in preparing and maintaining baseball fields, common areas, and facility grounds for games, practices, and special events.
  • Perform manual labor, including lifting heavy weights, stooping, bending, digging, and twisting to maintain facility grounds and fields.
  • Assist with setting up fields for batting practice, pulling tarps to cover fields in inclement weather, and performing general clean-up of grounds and facilities.
  • Comply with OSHA safety standards and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Assist with all baseball and non-baseball events and activities set-up and break down.
Requirements
  • Field or landscape maintenance experience preferred.
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
  • Must have reliable transportation to and from work.
  • Hiring is contingent upon the passing of a drug screening and background check.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift/move/carry items weighing up to 60 lbs on a regular basis.
  • Ability to lift/move items weighing up to 75 lbs on an occasional basis.
  • Ability to work extended hours, nights, weekends, and holidays.
Compensation
  • $16.00/hour
