Key Responsibilities

As a Crew Leader with East Coast Facilities, Inc. - Scranton Service Center, you will oversee a team of technicians, ensuring the successful completion of landscaping projects. Your primary focus will be on equipment management, work production, and team supervision.

Client Management
  • Represent the company professionally and maintain a positive attitude towards clients.
  • Respond to client inquiries, address concerns, and ensure their needs are met.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, Project Managers, and Field Supervisors to ensure seamless project execution.
Crew Supervision
  • Manage crew members, assigning tasks and ensuring work is completed efficiently and safely.
  • Prepare and secure materials, tools, and equipment for daily work schedules.
  • Maintain accurate records, including accident reports, equipment inventory, and quality control inspections.
Crew Training
  • Develop and implement training programs for crew members, focusing on company safety policies and job-specific tasks.
  • Certify crew members in job tasks and cross-train them in leadership roles for future growth.
Performance Reviews
  • Evaluate crew performance, providing constructive feedback and assisting Project Managers with performance reviews.
  • Monitor goals and objectives, ensuring crew members meet expectations.
Safety Management
  • Maintain a safe working environment, adhering to company procedures and protocols.
  • Ensure crew members follow safety guidelines and report any incidents or near-misses.
Image Compliance
  • Maintain a professional image, ensuring service vehicles and trailers are clean and well-maintained.
  • Monitor crew members' attire and behavior, promoting a positive company image.
Equipment Management
  • Oversee equipment maintenance, ensuring all tools and vehicles are in proper working order.
  • Account for equipment usage, reporting any damage or neglect.
Administrative
  • Manage administrative tasks, including paperwork, forms, and procedures.
  • Ensure accurate record-keeping and compliance with company policies.
General Qualifications
  • Effective communication skills, including basic reading and writing abilities.
  • A valid driver's license and ability to operate company vehicles.
  • Ability to work in various weather conditions and lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Knowledge of landscaping operations, including equipment usage and safety protocols.
Work Environment/Physical Requirements
  • Ability to work in outdoor environments, exposed to various weather conditions.
  • Ability to lift, bend, and twist continuously throughout the day.
  • Ability to work overtime or extended shifts as required by Management.
