Pharmacy Technician - Float Position

We are seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team in a float position. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting the pharmacy team and ensuring the smooth operation of our mental health and specialty pharmacy services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients and clinic staff
  • Fills prescription orders and verifies medication stock under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist
  • Orders, receives, and stores incoming pharmacy supplies
  • Processes wholesaler medication orders and maintains inventory records
  • Assists the pharmacist in maintaining compliance with federal and state regulations
  • Performs various clerical duties and communicates effectively with the team

Requirements:

  • Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in the state of Illinois
  • Access to reliable transportation and a valid US driver's license

Preferred Qualifications:

  • National Pharmacy Technician Certification
  • 6+ months of Pharmacy Technician experience
