About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team at HCA Florida Oak Hill Hospital. As a key member of our Imaging Team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic and therapeutic technical procedures utilizing radiopharmaceuticals, ensuring accuracy and precision in every step.
  • Prepare and administer radioactive isotopes to patients, adhering to strict protocols and guidelines.
  • Operate scanners and scintillation cameras to detect radiation emitted and produce high-quality images of organs and body systems.
  • Position patients and adjust immobilization devices to ensure optimal imaging results.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, addressing their concerns and providing compassionate care.
  • Monitor, record, and document patient data using computerized systems, maintaining confidentiality and accuracy.
Requirements
  • Graduate of a Nuclear Medicine program with a strong foundation in radiopharmaceuticals and imaging techniques.
  • AART (NM) and/or CNMT Certification, demonstrating expertise and commitment to the field.
  • Current American Heart Association Certification in Basic Life Support, ensuring the highest standards of patient care.
  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including frequent standing, bending, and lifting of patients and equipment up to 50 pounds.
