We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Custodian to join our team at the City of Santa Paula, CA. As a Custodian, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities, including parks and buildings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Custodial Tasks: Sweep, scrub, strip, mop, seal, wax, and polish floors, as well as vacuum and shampoo carpets.
  • Facilities Maintenance: Dust, clean, and polish furniture, woodwork, fixtures, and equipment, and wash windows.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs, and notify management of any issues.
  • Logistical Support: Provide logistical support for city and community meetings and events, and perform minor building maintenance tasks.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Knowledge and Abilities: Knowledge of custodial and janitorial duties, ability to work safely without supervision, and ability to establish and maintain effective public relations.
  • Licenses: Valid California Class C driver's license.
