Job Summary

ABARTA Coca-Cola Beverages is seeking an HR Generalist to join our team. This role will have an emphasis on employee relations and safety, and will also support the business by completing HR project work, contributing to HR strategy development, and supporting various areas of the HR department.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer established HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations, including ACA, ADA, HIPAA, EEOC, OSHA, and other applicable laws and regulations.
  • Foster positive working relationships between employees, supervisors, and managers, and research and respond to employee concerns and questions.
  • Support the HR Business Partner by providing HR counsel and advice on disciplinary actions, application of collective bargaining agreements, and interactions with union personnel.
  • Participate in site/company safety initiatives and assist the Safety Manager in ensuring compliance with company safety policies and practices.
  • Support the planning and execution of HR projects, programs, and initiatives, such as performance management, benefits enrollment, and talent management.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Human Resources leadership.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in HR generalist duties, with a strong understanding of general HR practices.
  • Proficient skills using HRIS technology, including navigation, data changes, and reporting.
  • Excellent written, interpersonal, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate with a wide range of audiences.
  • Labor Relations experience is preferred.
