Job Summary

As a Superintendent with Taylor Morrison, you will be responsible for leading the homebuilding process in your assigned community(ies). This role requires strong leadership and management skills, as well as the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the overall homebuilding process, ensuring timely completion and meeting financial, quality, safety, and customer satisfaction goals.
  • Foster a team environment and build positive relationships with subcontractors.
  • Continuously evaluate quality, safety, scheduling, and cost control measures, and enforce site safety protocols.
  • Provide mentoring and guidance to team members as needed.
  • Manage construction schedules and ensure the delivery of high-quality products on time and within budget.
  • Develop and implement recovery strategies to maintain schedules and authorize payments for materials received and work completed.
  • Provide clear answers to buyers about the homebuilding process and ensure the overall condition of the home at move-in is satisfactory to the homebuyer.
  • Provide exceptional customer service at all times.
  • Ensure that the worksite is clean, orderly, and visually appealing to customers during construction.
  • Manage the post-close process for warranty, including assessing warranty requests, determining courses of action, scheduling trades, and managing quality assurance.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma/GED with 1+ years of construction experience (preferably with a production builder) or successful completion of the assigned TM360 Learning curriculum.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction or a related field is preferred.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of new home construction processes, scheduling, and cost control procedures.
  • Ability to read, understand, and interpret construction documents, drawings, specifications, scopes of work, and project schedules.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and computer skills.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Customer service-oriented and prioritizes customer satisfaction.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
Working Conditions
  • Office or non-manual work directly related to management or general business operations.
  • Primary component involves the exercise of independent judgment and discretion about matters of significance.
